About

evo studios, named for the evolution of medicine, provides visuals for the growing research and education in the biomedical field.

Jennifer (Rogers) St. Charles, founder, was born in Texas, but resided most of her life in the Blue Ridge Mountains of Virginia. Her undergraduate studies were completed at Virginia Commonwealth University, where she received her Bachelor of Fine Arts in Communication Arts. Her love of science and human anatomy carried her to graduate school at the University of Illinois at Chicago, where she received her Master of Science in Biomedical Visualization. In her free time, she loves to draw portraits of people and investigate 3d animation techniques.

Her primary software is Adobe Photoshop/Illustrator, 3ds Max, Mudbox, After Effects, Premiere and ZBrush. Service specialties include digital illustration, storyboarding, 3D texturing, modeling, 2D/3D animation, video editing and compositing, graphic and motion design. Jennifer currently lives in the Vancouver area working as an experienced 3D animator, graphic designer, and digital illustration artist. She's worked in studio and as a remote freelancer for over 8 years. Her experience has pushed tight deadlines ranging from 2 weeks to 2 months and included multiple consulting opportunities with the clients. Jennifer's communication focus includes scientific/molecular concepts and research, human anatomy and surgical visualizations. Her tasks involve creating animations from start to finish (storyboarding-final product) but have also included working with pre-existing projects and creating cohesive visuals that match the client's style. She considers herself a Medical and Scientific 3D Generalist and is willing to take on any educational visual needed. Jennifer is adaptable and willing to learn and grow with your company! Always moving and always moving forward to illuminate your needs in a sensitive and thoughtful way to create beautiful visuals.

This site is intended to provide a glimpse of the various visual media that can be communicated in the field of medicine. The fine art gallery shows her other works. To get a more in depth understanding of her past processes and pieces check out her blog.
